Met with my new mentor, Katy Schneider, of Northampton, Mass. Check out her stuff at katyschneider.com- she’s a really great painter.  Her figure work is especially impressive. She’s encouraged me to pay more attention to the abstract geometry in my work and to look for a little more harmony in my color- to get more of an overall complexion or dominant color.
